Try finding a local store to stock (for trial and
purchase) a Greenline or other less common pro
clarinet! Two local shops I buy equipment from laugh
at my suggestion that I WILL buy a Buffet Green A
clarinet from then if they just get a few for me to
try. As previously discussed, the overhead price for
them is just too high. One place even went so far as
to say the A R13 greenline doesn't exist! This was
even after I bought my Greenline Bb from them. Most
small - albeit specialized - shops still only stock
R13's and maybe Prestige. I have yet to find a
willing store to get me a few Greens to try. I will
undoubtably have to order from a catalog.

Speaking of Greenline, I heard Ricado Morales is now
sponsored by Buffet and plays on Festival Greenline
clarinets. Wonder if the Leblanc dominos will start
to fall. If Larry goes, forget about it!
