Affordable is nice. Nice is even better.

I mentioned this one before, and Amazon also has it:

That's an awful lot of numberage for a really nice and inexpensive CD
called "Around Bartok" doing work by Bartok, Farkas, Weiner, and
Lutoslawski (yes, the ever-popular Dance Preludes). Most of the stuff,
however, is Hungarian: and I suppose the title means people who were
contemporaries of Bartok or from the same geographical area.

The clarinetist is someone named Fides Auf der Mauer, and she's
accompanied by Michiko Tsuda on the piano. The label is some subsidiary
of Koch called Discover International.

The Amazon page for this disk has sound samples. Unfortunately, since
I'm behind a firewall, RealPlayer can't receive the stuff; but having
heard it, I can recommend it highly.
