Hello everyone,

I am just so happy that I found this page and joining this list. I haven't
played clarinet for about 9 years, but now eager to start playing again. I
am now realizing that I almost have to start from nothing and learn a whole
lot. Any of your suggestions and recommendations will be greatly
appreciated.

I was taking music classes back when I was in Russia. I studied piano for
about 3 years as primary instrument and than was switched to clarinet
instead. I studied playing clarinet for 3 years and just needed another
year to get my High School diploma for it, if you can say that, but we left
Russia and things changed. I still play piano occasionally but would like
to now get back to clarinet and eventually try American sexy saxophone.

Gush, I have so many questions that don't know where to start. Sure need to
do some reading to remember how to take care of clarinet since I have the
wooden one, still seems to be in a good condition all the way from Russia.
Need to learn english terms that related to clarinet, and etc. etc.

If any of you can recommend any music that you think would be fun and
practical to learn for me I would appreciate it. Something jazzy and modern
would be more inspiring. Also, if anyone knows any good stores or clarinet
organization in Atlanta area, please let me know. I haven't met anyone
playing clarinet so far here so hope you can help.
