Subject: Re: [kl] Buffet E 11 Mark is right on the money. The Buffet E-11
is thought, by many, to represent a very good value amongst reasonably
priced (new) clarinets. In fact, rumors abound, that some professionals
choose to play the E-11 over professional grade instruments like the R-13.
The E-11 features silver keys, and many other (UPGRADED) features that many
have come to associate with professional-level instruments.
-------------------------
Unless the Professional has some very, very small hands, the E-11 would be
a very bad choice for an adult to play. The key work in the lower joint
(low E, F, etc.) is smaller than the R-13 or even the E-12.
There is an E-11 C Clarinet that is very, very good (there is a top NYC.
player who is going to get one after playing it at ClarFest).
