Me too, probably. But it might have been a close thing.

It's worth noticing that although the newspaper reporter draws the
inference that Barenboim 'took revenge by refusing to play an encore',
we don't know whether that was actually true.

Are there more facts in the article to justify that, Avrahm?

Don't forget,

"Never look for anything resembling justice from the press. The basic
tone of the press is a cruising, omnidirectional hostility."

Whether or not to play an encore is a matter of judgement. You don't
get them as a matter of course.

When I worked with him, Barenboim was anything but a stick.
