I would need to be more precise if I were attempting an actual analysis
of the whole movement. In fact, looking at it again, I see that the two
motifs would be better regarded as [Ab Bb] and [G A C B A G B G].

Perhaps someone would like to do a complete analysis, on these or other
principles, as Christian suggested?
