I must reluctantly agree with you. I'm known for being the loudest player in
our clarinet section, at least among those who play Bb soprano. The stand
was one of those heavy-duty Wengers too, not a lighter Manhasset. It did,
however, have a clipped-on folder that increased it's "sail area," making it
all the more vulnerable to my awesome power. For our next outdoor concert,
I'll make sure to face into the wind before beginning my warm-up, or avoid
those wimpy stands altogether and memorize the entire program. It's the
least I can do to accommodate my long-suffering colleagues!

Seriously, thanks for the humor. I'll look forward to sharing future holiday
performance experiences with everyone.
