(Not clarinet-related, but cannot find info anywhere else)

I am looking for information (history, s/n list etc.) for the Martin Indiana
saxophones. The story goes that in the 70's the Martin factory burned down
and most info was lost. I play an Indiana alto myself which I bought about
15 years ago, but the reseller could not tell me anything specific about the
instrument.
