1. Check the instrument carefully for leaks.
2. If leak(s) aren't the problem, maybe try a softer reed and wider
mouthpiece.
I think a lot of clarinet players who are self-taught players (myself
included) assume that their usual clarinet emboucher/mouthpiece/(hard) reed
setup will translate directly into sax.
3. (Desperate move, like reading the manual) Take lesson(s) from a
professional sax teacher!
