Jim's right, and I may have been the one that gave the demonstration--at
least at Columbus last year. I made some comments in the Clarinet magazine a
few issues ago--these may be of some interest to you as you seek an answer to
your question. It's a very nifty machine, but it can't be assumed to
"duplicate" a reed--it merely gives us a shape which we then adapt to our
particular mouthpiece.
