This would be a good analogy if we were cleaning clarinets with miles of
ship hawser pulled by an airplane. Most of the Grand Canyon was cut
when massive glacier meltwater lakes burst through ice dams. Most of
the Grand Canyons were not cut by the little rivers you see today.
