In my clarinet quartet music, I have the FRENCH SUITE for four Bb clarinets
by Yvonne Desportes, and the fourth clarinet part does not specifically
state either soprano or bass for this part. I have been playing this part
on bass clarinet, however I am not sure if this is correct. It would be
appreciated if anyone on the list
knows what the composer had in mind for this part. Incidentally, this suite
has six short movements and is one of the favourites of my quartet.
