Alvin,

Why do you recommend tuning rings in both sockets of a barrel? I've
always added them between bottom socket and top of upper joint. I don't
think the ones I use will even fit it the upper socket. (Of course, it
would be easy to turn them down so they, or a separate set, would.)

Could you please elaborate?
