I just got home from a NY Philharmonic concert in Sioux Falls, SD. Hard
to believe, eh? The orchestra sounded great, as did the clarinet
section, as usual. They did Mahler 1 and the Ravel Piano Concerto, so
there were plenty of opportunities for the clarinets to shine. A friend
of mine who plays in the orchestra told me that they were extremely
impressed with our new hall, which opened officially on June 1st. I just
had to share!
