This is an extremely interesting work that is also a bit problematic.
There are parts published by Kalmus, which last I knew were significantly
cheaper than the Eschig parts. But alas in this case you get what you pay
for - the Kalmus parts are littered with errors (gee - who'd a thunk
it?!?). The Eshig parts also contain errors, but not as many, and you can
mostly correct them from the Eschig score. There is a recording on
Musical Heritage Society (or there *was* in the LP days) by members of
the Soni Ventorum Quintet (U of Washington, USA) which reveal that this
piece is a fine one, and worth a lot of effort to perform.
