Subj: [kl] Need a teacher's viewpoint

Hi everyone,

I am having a slight dilemma here. I am taking lessons from my clarinet
professor right now as I am staying on campus to work. Luther College (the
college I am attending) is hosting the annual Lutheran Summer Music Camp on
campus right now. The have guest professors from different universities
giving lessons to high school students who are attending the camp. I am
thinking about taking lessons from the visiting clarinet professor while he
is here. My question is, will my college professor feel insulted if I do
that? I just want to have the opportunity to learn from a different
teacher and be able to absorb as much knowledge as I can from different
teachers. I know that there are a lot of professors on the list and I was
wondering if you could give your viewpoint as a teacher. Of course I am
going to talk to my college professor before doing that because it is only
right for me to do that. Thanks in advance for any opinions.

Soo
