I use the Klose method the most, but in addition to other people's good
suggestions, see if you can find a used copy of _Arban's Complete Method for
Cornet_. It's been published in numerous big fat paperback editions since
the late 1800s, sometimes with a slightly variant title, but always as
_Arban's_ something-or-other. It's still in print, but turns up often in
used book stores, where it's often shelved with books because of its large
size. I learned nearly everything I know about tonguing by practicing the
many good exercises in that method, even though it was written for cornet and
trumpet players.

Be careful, though. That book attracts cornets. They can smell an Arban's
from miles away and next thing you know, they'll come honking at your door.
If you let one in, it's surprisingly hard to get rid of it. ;-)
