I think you're probably right, Wurlizter Oehler systems use a single
function key but their Reform Boehm has a dual function vent. Does
anyone know if this means the Yamaha German Boehm has just the dual
function or a single function?

Of course Selmer tried the Omega thing and the Mazzeo system, both of
which had their drawbacks, does anyone know why the S.K. mechanism never
caught on, or why you don't see it, or what manufacturer used it in the
past?

One more thing, what do you call the single function register key
mechanism that you see on bass and alto clarinets today? Do any of
these use the Omega or S.K. mechanism?
