I disagree. I started reading this list in 1996. This forum has a =
predictable pattern of topics and opinions about them represented by key =
contributors. One topic is equipment. The newcomer just discovering =
different horns and different set-ups routinely becomes supper for the =
seasoned players who are well beyond this early phase in a player's =
experience. No disrespect: those seasoned players are exactly that, =
awesome musicians. But, no need to be coy or beat around the bush. If you =
want to chew the fat about the effect of different clarinets, mouthpieces, =
and ligatures, you had better look out for the really big fish.
