Dear all,

I have heard from ppl tt you have to break into a new instrument before it
will sound properly....

How true is this?

I got this answer...

so what is the reason behind all this?
Why does the instrument "open up" or get "seasoned" if it indeed happens?

Are there any steps tt need to be taken to break into an instrument
properly?
Is it important to do so?
