Any suggestions or bright ideas please?
At 1 bar before rehearsal number 78 the bass clarinet
has a solo upward arpeggio in 16th notes. On a B flat instrument
the notes are D# G# C# F# B E. For the sake of an answer
I am prepared to take some flack for having two basses
(an old Selmer and Boehm Uebel and an Uebel basset horn)
all with the same fingering system: RH low E flat and 3 LH thumb keys.
So I really don't want to sell. This requires a big finger slide
from LH G# to C# or it becomes a quick release (before the B)
"knee job" to hold down the RH E flat and free the right pinky
for a RH G# . I have not perfected the knee and the slide is
a bit uneven up to speed.

Thanks
Mike Bryant
