Iv'e converted to Legere's reeds. [To hell with natural cane!] I got a
Legere reed that became too light for my liking. I called Guy Legere to
ask him if it was clippable. He said that Vandoren reed clippers would
make a mess when confronted with his composit reeds but a good old Cordier
was up to task. Luckily I had an old Cordier that I hadn't used in 30
years. It worked like a charm! It wasn't easy cutting but it did a
beautiful job.
