I am going to attend Brevard Music Camp this summer (in North Carolina) as a
high schooler. I don't know what sort of environment it will be, or what
level of competition there is but I am very excited and I have heard a lot of
excellent things about the camp. But it is a tad pricey too, $3050 without
any sort of scholarship. I recieved a small scholarship that I will be
working for. The scholarships are based a lot on financial need, but of
course your playing ability too. You should check out the website, at
<www.brevardmusic.org>. Another camp I do not know too much about is the
Aspen Music Festival. I've heard lots of good things about the camp. They
also have a website, but I'm not quite sure of the address. Any search
engine should find it. Hope I could help.
