If you'd like to start in treble clef, and work your way toward playing
from the cello edition in bass clef, you could try "Classical Studies",
edited by Voxman and published by
Rubank. I had a student at U of Richmond who was interested in bass
clarinet, and very modestly talented. We were able to pick some of the
simpler movements and play them successfully.

I also received in the UR mail a copy of "Bach for the Clarinet",
described on the accompanying flyer as "Selected movements from a dozen
of Bach's unaccompanied works - 66 pages, 43 selections, 2 pages of
instructive text." It's transcribed and edited by Ronald Caravan,
Professor at Syracuse U. The publisher is Ethos Publications, P.O. Box
2043, Oswego, NY 13126 (USA). Cost is $15 (US).

There's also a version for the saxophone (horrors!!!) ;-)
