New York, first, probably is somewhat overrated as a place to buy
equipment. The other problem is that because the horn is a Bundy, it's
got a one-piece body. The bell and neck detach, yes, but then you've
got this huge black piece of plumbing that doesn't have a center joint
for breakdown and easier carrying. I've checked the catalogues and only
Giardinelli seems to sell anything like this: DEG, I think, makes a
one-piece case.
