Patches are good because bone hearing is HORRIBLE. For many years I've
been forced to use a patch since I have a gold cap on one of my top
incisors. The cap amplifies my bone hearing enormously. Once youv'e
really heard bone hearing you realize that any at all is bad! I simply
keep a good supply of patches for any mouthpiece smorgasbording I might do.
