Markgr0806@-----.com noted re the Selmer Signature:

<<<I have tried the Selmer Signatures. Not at the OK Symposium, but a
Selmer rep came to Cincinnati and we all tried the different models.
Actually, some of the lesser models were better than the Signature. Not
much room to grow in dynamic contrasts, pitch was hard to hold, and it
wasn't very tonally flexible. But, try them yourself, maybe it was just a
bad batch.>>>

This is pretty much in line with the example I tried. While it had a very
good scale--stopped the needle on most every note--the horn was quite
resistant. To my ears, it had a small, "dead" sound; I would have a hard
time using it in my (unfortunately overloud) orchestra. Not for me.
