When I got a job conducting our Municipal Band, I told a friend that I
was going to spend the summer conducting. She replied, " What, and
give up music?" So, my question is this, as someone who earns half his
money playing, and the other half conducting, am I supposed to hate
myself, or treat myself badly? :-)
