At a guess, you probably have better posture for clarinet playing than you
do for any other activity you might do sitting. I know there are only two
times when I'm guaranteed to be sitting up straight -- One is for driving
(If I start slouching, I lose the mirror adjustment and can't see behind me)
and the other is for clarinet (apparently, I have at least one good habit!).
When I'm typing, I slowly slouch down into some horrid position, and I'm
ashamed to admit that even when I'm singing I'm likely to slouch if I don't
watch myself.
