(Or a personal pet peeve of mine,) the flute player sitting beside the
podium who taps her foot when she plays, but in NO discernable rhythm, or
at least none that relates to the music being played. Periodically, I tell
her if she has to tap her foot, to please do it in rhythm. Her usual
response is: "Was I tapping my foot???"
