I measured the barrel on the old Pruefer A clarinet: it's 70 mm!! That's
pretty long, isn't it?
(I wasn't using it b/c the mouthpiece socket is too big for my mouthpiece.)

The barrel on my 1930's Selmer A is "only" 68 mm.
