Someone (I deleted the article too fast - sorry) wrote about their
confusion about why an article on dental hygiene would appear in The
Clarinet. FWIW, my guess on why: Much of the tooth loss etc that we
used to associate with normal aging can be prevented/minimized
with good dental hygiene. Why readjust your embouchure to dentures
(according to several clarinet players I know, a difficult task at
best) if you can minimize the necessity for dentures with good
dental hygiene?
