But keep in mind that some do not. Bob Spring played two of his Doctoral
recitals sitting - and he played all the recitals I attended sitting as
well. Granted, I have heard him play many times since and he was
standing, but I didn't view him as sheepish, unagressive, boring, etc. at
all!

I used to play most of my recitals sitting until a few years ago. I have
no idea why I went back to standing - just felt like it. There is a bit
more freedom to move isn't there?
