I've been playing on a 5RVlyre 13 for 4 years and love it. It's versatile enough for both jazz and classical. I had a lesson with Tom Martin where I tried out a bunch of mouthpieces, including several Johnstons. I sounded the best on the Vandoren and saved a lot of money. He really likes the 13 series. My new teacher congratulated me on finding such a nice "stock" mouthpiece. This past year, I was auditioning at schools and a lot of teachers also mentioned their fondness of this mouthpiece. What a bargain!
