Neil,

This statement from your last post interested me. You say, "if I heard a
maker play one of his own mouthpieces in recital..." and that's something
that I find curious. Most makers DON'T play their own mouthpieces. Most that
I've worked with are still playing the older mouthpieces, i.e. Kaspar,
Chedeville, etc. WHY IS THIS?? If these guys make such great mouthpieces,
why are they not playing their own?

Just something I was curious about. Anyone got any ideas? TIA.
