There is a product called "H.W. Pad-
Saver made by La Voz in the U.S. HW. Pdoducts inc., Oakland CA 94612

With this, I have only had to replace the pads every 5-10 years, I live
in
Israel and then before that in Southern California where it is dry, but
then in
Singapore, it might help to make your pads last more than a year. Write
to the
company and see if they have a dealer in your area. It comes in sizes
for
clarinet, flute and sax.

I have not looked for a website, maybe they are online as well.
