Mr. Swiney, thank you for the wealth of information you posted. My students
at the New World School of the Arts and symphony colleagues read with
interest and pleasure. As a student in Philadelphia, when Casimir was with
Hans Moennig, I used to sometimes wait my turn and watch as Mr. Moennig
worked on a clarinet for Harold Wright (coincidental meetings). The
interchanges between these three people and my observations as Mr. Moennig
worked were a unique supplement to my interest in clarinet tone and timbre.
