Gary,

I realize you were trying to answer someones questions, buy wow, you've got
me totally confused. Now I have questions too. What is your definition of a
"resonance" key? We need to define terms. Can we start there?

Without wishing to intimidate, may I ask how long you've been playing
clarinet?
