Here's another Music Festival worth checking out. It's the Fame Festival. They
are starting a Classical Sax division this year with Paul Cohen as the Faculty
Sax teacher. I have sent numerous students to the Festival, and have taught
there. I highly recommend checking it out. Paul is the Sax Professor of the
Oberlin Conservatory, Manhattan school of Music, and is world renowned as a
Classical Soloist. He will be also performing with the Wind Ensemble the
Creston Concerto, and other Recitals, as well as coachings, and clinics. I
mentioned to him that one of my favorites is the Finney Concerto - he replied
that he helped
in the final arrangement with the ossia in the 2nd mvt. of that piece (it's in
the credits of the composition).
The Fame Festival has one heck of a line-up of teachers:

Flute - Julius Baker
Clarinet - Anthony Gigliotti
Oboe - John Mack
Sax- Paul Cohen
Fr. Horn - Dale Clevenger
Trumpet - Vince Penzarella
Viola - Joseph dePasquale
Chamber Music- Michael Tree
Jazz Program Faculty - Ellis Marsalis , Delfeayo Marsalis, Don Harrison,
Jeff Watts (from Wynton's band)

Pretty hard to top that line-up! The Festival is in Princeton, NJ.
