Dear Alvin,

As a subscriber to a number of email discussion lists, both for my work and
for personal interest, I have found that the Klarinet list is by far more
informative, entertaining and active than any of the others. In particular,
I've enjoyed your personal contributions in recent times, partly because you
can contribute based on first hand experience working alongside the great
Hans Moennig. This type of contribution adds a HUGE amount of value to
Klarinet. I'm sure that there are many hundreds of readers on the list who
similarly enjoy your contributions and hope the a few others will stand up
and say so.

And by the way, if from time to time, someone's genuine "non-commercial"
contributions might be viewed by some readers as "soliciting for work", it
is a pity, but will happen from time to time. I don't mind a small component
of commercialism because in balance, it is far better to have professionals
like yourself sharing experiences than not.

If you do decide to leave, we shall all be the poorer for it! Please
reconsider!

Hopefully,

Graeme Cox
Christchurch, New Zealand
