Hi Dan--

I live in Seattle. I would rather send away to a great repair person than
use one of the so-so ones in town.

As far as the plating--My keys have the nickel plating worn off in spots,
and the underlying metal is beginning to pit--better to replate now, I
think. I have played horns with silver plating, and like the feel better.
Besides, they look oh so spiffy.

Kevin,
Where do you live. It's nice to pick up the clarinets in person. This
way you can have some things tweeked to your liking before you take
delivery. I like Brannen (when I lived in Wisconsin) and now I go to Tim
Clark (since I'm in Columbus). Both I highly reccomend - warning - both are
not cheap but it is worth it.
Why do you want to silver plate the keys?

Dan
