Of course. Many of these legendary clarinetists are now very old or
dead. It is self evident they used older Buffet or other models. It would
have been difficult to use today's clarinets ...

.........Yes, These great player may be old and dead, but their great tone
and playing is still documented through recordings.

>How many CDs have you made and where might I find a copy?

Specious and argumentative question, don't you think?

......He obviously speaks from experience? I merely wanted to know more about
his playing.

A question I'd like to ask:

How many of today's "legends" (I know - a bit of an oxymoron) are playing
on old Buffets? If any are, why aren't _those_ clarinets "blown out"?

There are quite a few actually. Visit Cleveland when you get a chance.

......But wait! An even better question is: How many of today's Orchestral
legends from major symphonies such as Philadelphia, New York, Boston,
Chicago, Etc. are still in possession of these proven Buffet Clarinets, play
on these older instruments, but yet hypercritically endorse other brands such
as Selmer, Yamaha and Leblanc due to financial gain???????? That is the
question you should be asking!

When I get time, I will share with you a story about the worst
argument that I have ever witnessed. This conflict involved Benny Goodman and
Hans Moennig about clarinet endorsement.

Enough for now,
