(I'll post this to everyone just in the case that someone knows how to
transport
the MIDI files to me)

To Bill Edinger,

Two things. When I first create .MUS files, I don't put in the dynamics
markings,
mainly for selfish reasons. I simply want to be able to play along with the
MIDI files at the first possible opportunity. When appropriate occasions
arise
(a gig with my buddies, etc.) my arm is twisted to put in all markings for the
pieces we plan to play. Then we all have our own public domain copies,
with full
notations, and we can copy them to our heart's content. There are
at this writing about 3-4 works on my page which have dynamics and
articulation markings: the work by Muller (or is it Gopfer, I can't
remember),
Mozart's six serenades from K.439b, Olivadoti's duet for Bessie and most
recently
Beethoven's Opus 87 trio. (Please note. I uploaded the fully notated
files this
morning.) The rest will have to wait as inspiration strikes me and I have
sufficient
free time.

Secondly, I can't play the Krommer MIDI files in the form you sent them to me.
A little poking around Sneezy revealed that they are in the (probably
proprietary)
LIME format. Can that be converted to Type 1 MIDI format? If so I'd greatly
appreciate receiving them that way.

I would really like you to try
again because having the MIDI files saves me ENORMOUS amounts of time in
making Finale files out of them. MIDI files are transportable between Macs
and PCs, so once converted, I ought to have no problem.

Many thanks,

Oliver
