Don,
I don't know if I would call an R-13 Prestige "the best". I've been
shopping around for an A clarinet lately, and I've tried several Prestiges
and Festivals, and IMHO the Festival is a better horn. BUT, I think the
best idea is to her talk to her future teacher, and to just try out
different horns and see which one is most comfortable for her.
