I played on a refaced Gigliotti for about 6 years, and it was a good
mouthpiece. It was a little unresponsive in the altissimo, esp if the
reed wasn't the greatest. But I made the RSO recording of the Ginastera
and the recording of the Blank Concerto on that mouthpiece.

I've been playing on an M13Lyre for the last two years. The pitch is good
(we play at 440) on my Yamaha 72 clarinets, and the evenness of response
is very good. My colleague in the RSO and I have been through lots of
batches for students and ourselves, and find them to be very consistent,
more so than the usual flavors of Vandoren mouthpieces. Of course, all
the usual caveats apply - YMMV, all players a different, etc. etc, yadda,
yadda, yadda, (not that there's anything wrong with that!)

Cheers!
