There is indeed a chamber version of the complete Nutcracker. The ballet =
co. here does it often. The clarinet parts have a lot of flute material =
in them. You play almost constantly! It is fun, though.

A friendasked me to post the following question:

************************

I'm a conductor with a chamber orchestra. Have any of you seen, played
or heard of an arrangement of the Nutcracker for an ensemble of up to 20
players? If it's something that only incorporates parts of the Suite as
opposed to the complete ballet, that would also be great. Thanks for any
suggestions.

TIA for any help you might be able to provide.

Janet
