Leah you might want to try out the Hite Premier mouthpiece.
Yes it is plastic but it is still a very good mouthpiece.
It should be available from the woodwind and brasswind for about $20
Another option might be the Fobes debut. I don't have personal experince
with this one
but many others have recommended.

As for your squeaking. Two things come to mind.

1. Are there any scratches or chips on the reails or tip of your mouthpiece.

2. Are you sure all your pads are fine. A leaking pad somewhere (especially
the upper joint) could easily cause this.
