While I am sensitive to language, I remind myself that language evolves.
There are countless idioms and colloquialisms. As a writer, I try to be
careful not to "corrupt" the language, but someday "It needs repaired" might
be an acceptable expression. In fact, didn't Hamlet address this very
expression when he said, "To be or not to be, that is the question?"
