Count me in as one who cringes also. I, too, hear the "Her & I did
[whatever] this weekend" by college-educated, high-ranking people in my
organization. Also, the famous "He don't got to do..." by college-educated
mid-ranking staffers. I try not to cringe physically, as that would be
considered not being a team player, but it's not easy. Are those of us who
prefer traditional, standard (American) English now in a minority?
