Thanks for the help David,
I purchased Silelius student version yesterday after the store let me use
their manual over the weekend. I paid the extra $50 ($299) because of the
fact that the store let me use their manual which allowed me to make an
informed decision. I am seeing problems with NT4 but it could be the hardware
platform. I will try a different computer later. I cannot make it scan under
NT even though the scanner works fine for other software. And I have to
reboot the system after I try to scan. Works good on WIN95 and the scanning
is much better than my tests with MidiScan. This is much better software than
Finale for the occasional user. I think it is as easy to use as Encore but
has more power.
